Busy Bridesmaids

Not only were my beautiful bridesmaids setting table napkins and placing stinky starfish delicatly in sandboxes, they were also busy primpping behind the scenes.

"Sweater Vests? Do you really want me to wear that?"

Our groomsmen and ushers wore camel colored sweater vests for our wedding. My vision was possible because of two reasons:

1) Mom Cannon (and Tuck) searched far and wide for the perfect sweater vest. This proved to be a treacherous task.

2) Those handsome boys agreed to unselfishly wear those fabulous camel colored sweaters. Almost all of the groomsmen made it through the night wearing them with the exception of Cole who ditched his fancy sweater vest on the dance floor.

Sweater vest wearing men eat your heart out.

Here Comes the Bride

On November 24th I booked the Malibu West Beach Club for our April 26th wedding. I didn't start planning the wedding until after the New Year. Although the Beach Club was an empty slate, it was perfect for what I had imagined. The wedding and reception were just the add-ons because our wedding was about committing my life to my best friend in front of our friends and family that came to celebrate with us. Here are the elements of the ceremony that the photographer captured.

Pictures in the Sunset

After we were pronounced husband and wife the wedding party headed down to the beach to take pictures, while the guests had coctail hour on the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Coctails included a Malibu Margarita, and a Aboloene Appletini that were available in alcohlic and non-alcohlic versions. But the excitment for us was down on the sand of Broad Beach where the photographer captured these unforgettable pictures.
