Shouldn't everyone's life be as magical?

I guarantee that once you set eyes on this wedding video you too will want to to be remarried (married) in rural Texas, say your vows in front of a teepee, and dance your first dance under strung feathers in a red barnyard. obsessed.

I saw James on Instagram (@bleubird) and have been following her blog ever since. She's a mother, wife, a collector(lover) of all things vintage, a homeschooler, blogger and best of all she is expecting her 4th little birdie two weeks after ours will hatch.

FYI- The song in the video is called Blood by a band called The Middle East. love.

Bryon & Ashley

Think way back to June 26th. I am just now posting pictures from our great friends Byron and Ashley's wedding. They deserve much more than to have me post about them a month after their wedding. Their service was short and sweet, and their reception was appetizing and intimate in the Yamamoto's backyard. They have so many wonderful adventures to be had together.

Marsha's Married

Yesterday Marsha married Craig Brown in Marina Del Rey.
Beautiful weather, loving friends and family, an adorable 2 year old son, and a lifetime to share with one another.
Some things in life are so brilliantly meant to be.

Weekend Wedding

Mr. Neil Esposito gained a Mrs. this weekend in Dana Point at the Chart House restaurant. It was a beautiful ceremony in the sun, set atop a bluff overlooking the harbor and ocean. We are so excited for the two of them who are sure to have a lifetime of happiness together.

Wrapping Up April With Paper

This month has been the busiest month this year. So why not throw in a first year anniversary?

We celebrated our big 1 year by exchanging paper gifts and having a lovely dinner at the Chart House on PCH looking out over the ocean. In addition, we both agreed that if we can last through a year of married life together we can last a whole life time together.

A Funk'n Wedding

We were fortunate enough to witness the marriage of Kimberly Tawney to Dustin Funk on July 25th. It was a beautiful ceremony at the Sportsman's Lodge in Studio City, CA. The wedding colors were Burgundy and black which were carried through all the aspects of the wedding, including Kim's beautiful gown. The bridesmaids dresses were Burgundy with little black ribbon around the waist, I was lucky I could even breathe in the size 2 the dress lady accidentally ordered for me! What great friends we have from the old to the new, we are so very happy for the new Dustin Funk Family.

I Do in Malibu

To all our friends & family:
Our hearts & minds are guided by those that came before us. We tromp through the unknown because that's the way our fathers did it, and we think of others with fond thoughts because our mothers taught us to have compassion for others.
When I was young I spent most of my summer days at the beach. I distinctly remember following my father's footprints in the sand by taking large leaps so that my footprints land in the imprints he had left. Today I realize that our footsteps have wondered a path separate from that of our parents but if it weren't for the footprints that laid our foundation, life would have had a different story for us. We are blessed to have been surrounded by friends and family that have left their footprints in the sand so that we may experience the support, guidance, love and laughter that you all share with us.

On April 26, 2008 we officially became a new family. The wonderful people who shared our special union with us at sunset in Malibu on a beautiful Spring day shared in the moments that we cannont describe in words. The collection of photos that we have are pieces of our lives that we will remember for eternity. This is our attempt to recreate our perfect beach wedding.

Before the 114 guests arrived at the Beach Club

Terri from Tru Heart Creations was busy at work

creating our vision of a "Beach Chic Wedding."

Every detail from the pillows that matched our wedding colors to the coral filled center pieces was what I envisioned in my dreams.

It took blood, sweat, tears and help from anyone that I could get to help me. I'd like to send some very appreciative 'shout outs' to those who willingly offered their time to the Cashman/Cannon Wedding cause:
*Erin Cannon and Dayna Snow- covered themselves in white powder from sanding my table name frames to give them a perfect beachy weathered look
*Mom Cannon and Natasha Hurley (yes, and even Erin did a few)- hot gluing the mounted wedding programs onto Raffia Fans perfectly
*Brendan Cashman, Natasha, Mom Cannon, Tuck, and random hands from the Tristan Family household- Napkin Night with only 2 days until the wedding- folding, wrapping, taping, gluing, tieing, packing on the assembly line wouldn't have been as fun without you
*Mom Cannon (yes, Dayna did a few including Tuck's:)- stinky star fish name cards-Steph, need I say more?
