What a better way to ring in the New Year than with some college football and a wedding?

Catch Up Week 4: Newport Christmas Boat Parade
It was a beautiful night the weekend before Christmas. So we ( me, Mom, Dad, Brendan, Marsha, and Sean) bundled up with warm clothes and snacks to watch the annual Newport Christmas Boat Parade.
Every year, in the Balboa peninsula, the people who can afford yachts and everything in between decorate their floaters in crazy lights. Onlookers fill the Fun Zone so we walked to the "little beach" to watch the parade.
Mom waiting for the show to start
Brendan and Sean enjoying the lights
Not so small boats with fun toy decorations and a Christmas tree patch

Catch Up Week 3: Polar Express
Grab your ticket and board the Polar Express.
In Fillmore they have come up with an amazing money making plan: name a train the Polar Express, sell tickets at a high price, have the children come in their pajamas, give them cookies and chocolate milk, have Santa board the train to hand out candy canes, and sing Christmas Caroles. Cha-ching!
Cannon and Roman had a blast. Roman's eyes were so wide when Santa came aboard while Cannon was shouting out to Santa the things he wanted for Christmas.
